8.2.3.1 – Contravariant velocity at the boundary (Symmetry condition) The calculation of contravariant velocity at the faces of boundaries where there is symmetry condition is extremely simple. We have to recall the definition of symmetry and observe that velocity, perpendicular to the face, must be equal to zero.
