10.2.2 – Cycle W
In the cycle W the solver dedicates a larger number of iterations for all the refine levels with the except of the original mesh (level 0).

The maximum number of solver iterations, using as convergence criterion for the resolution of the linear system corresponds to the number of times that the solver will repeat the operation illustrated above.
