In the cycle F the solver dedicates a larger number of iterations for the rudest meshes (levels 2 and 3).  The illustration below illustrates an iteration of the Multigrid solver in the F cycle.

The maximum number of solver iterations, using as convergence criterion for the resolution of the linear system corresponds to the number of times that the solver will repeat the operation illustrated above.
